Dashkasan Temple is one of the best examples of rock-cut architecture in Iran that goes back to King Arghun, the father of Sultan Muhammad Khodabandeh.
Dashkasan temple is a unique one in Iran. IT is a temple with dragon design. Tourists think they are visiting a Chinese temple when they see this temple, but this historical monument is remained from Ilkhanid era. The temple is also known as "Dragon Temple" among the tourists. 
Two raised dragon designs and some Islamic Mihrabs in two sides of the temple in symmetry have adorned the temple.
