About: Malek Library and National Museum

National library and museum of Malek is one of the libraries of Tehran city. It was established in 1937 by Hussein Aqa Malek and all of its properties and tenements were dedicated to Astan Quds Razavi. In July of 1944, a large area of the national garden of Tehran  (Mashq square) was dedicated for the new building of the library and museum. The establishment of the new building of Malek’s national library and museum started on 1985 and was finished in 1996.
This complex is located in Imam Khomeini (Sepah) street, next to Foreign affairs building.
