About: The house of Qavam od-Dawla (Vossug ed Dowleh)

Qavam al-Dowleh’s house which is also known as Vosuq al-dowleh’s house, is one of the historical and beautiful buildings located in the heart of Tehran city. It was registered in the list of Iran’s national relics and it is visited by domestic and foreigner tourists. This building was constructed in 1832 in the ear of Muhammad Shah of Qajar for one of the authorities of Qajar, named Mirza Muhammad Qavam al-Dowleh Ashtiani.
The first element attracting the attention of the visitors of this house is the symmetry and the order of this house which is covered with bricks and woods. Moreover, two symmetrical funnels are among the beautiful elements of this old house.
Qavam al-Dowleh’s house was registered in the list of Iran’s national relics in 1998 with the registration number of 2024.
