Arg Gate in Semnan is located in Semnan City. The monument is the northern gate and the only remaining part of Semnan Arg which was built ate the time of Bahman Mirza Baha al-Dowleh, son of Fathali Shah Qajar.
The inscription on it shows that the building was finished in 1302 at the time of Naser AL-Din Shah Qajar reign and governance of Anoushiravan Mirza, the governor of Semnan, Damghan, Shahroud and Bastam.
The most important feature of the monument is the historical painting of the battle of Rostam and the White Beast on the seven-colored tiles of the entrance portal.
