Khaju Bridge in Isfahan is located on Zayanderud River and in the eastern side of Si-o-seh Pol. Khaju Bridge had foundations since late Timuri era and was built in its current form to the rder to Shah Abbas II in 1060. The bridge is 133 meters in length and 12 meters in width.
The bridge was one of the most beautiful bridges in the world at Safavid era and was considered more as a dam and was more famous than other Zayanderud bridges for its architecture and tile work decorations. Materials such as stones, bricks and mortars were used for building the monument.
Khaju Bridge is mildly similar to Allah Verdi Khan Bridge in appearance.
