Chōbīn Strait or Castle is one of the beautiful natural phenomena of Darreh Shahr County which includes some unique monuments.
Bahrām Chōbīn Strait is a narrow high strait with a strategic position in Kabir Kouh mountainside beside Sheikh Makan Village in the west side of Darreh Shahr-Poldokhtar road. Due to the remaining walls and military strongholds, this strait is called Bahrām Chōbīn, one of the generals of Sassanid dynasty. It was used by Bahrām Chōbīn to take shelter during the uprising against Khosrow Parviz.
