About: Delgosha Garden

Delgosha Garden is one of the historical gardens of Shiraz located beside the Tomb of Saadi. This garden dates back to Sassanid period. After visiting the garden, Timur constructed a garden in Samarkand and named it Delgosha. The garden as one of the famous gardens of Shiraz in Safavid dynasty. Some mansions related to Qajar period are also located in this garden. The whole garden is replete with bitter orange as well as a few orange trees. These trees start bearing beautiful white blossoms that fill the air with fragrance. 
The first pavilion in Iran was recorded in Delgosha Garden. 
The garden was registered in Iran’s National Heritage in 2002 under the registration number of 912.
