After Kerman, Isfahan, and Fars Provinces, East Azerbaijan Province is the fourth province in the country in terms of cultivation level and the fifth in breeding Damask Rose. Overall, 1425 tons of fresh flower grow in Osku County fields. This number of Damask Roses is then transferred to rose oil extraction, distillation, and drying centers of Osku and adjoining counties. Osku has the first place in the province in producing this product. Ganbarf village owns the highest rate of Damask Rose cultivation (188 hectares). In this village, Rose Festival is held yearly in early July.
