(Qiz Qurpesi) Pol Dokhtar of Mianeh
One of the unique bridges of Iran is the historic bridge named Pol Dokhtar that one day it was considered as key erections in cultural and business interactions to connect east of the world to the east due to locating in international and global path of Silk route (great highway of Khorasan). This bridge has been placed in 20 kilometers from southeast of Mianeh county in east Azerbaijan province. This mason is most likely has been constructed in Safavid era. 
It is necessary to explain that besides the named bridge, in various parts of Iran there are many bridges which are known as Pol Dokhtar that some archeologists know this appellation retrieved from Goddess Anahita, water angle in ancient Persia, and even they believe that a statue of this goddess was placed in one side of the bridge in the past in order to prevent the river’s outburst and destroy of bridge through sanctity of this goddess.
