About: Sar Aqa Seyyed Village
“Sar Aqa Seyyed” or Sar Agha Seyed is a cascade village that has only been famous twice throughout its life: one of which was 30 years ago for the president’s trip to this village.
“Sar Aqa Seyyed” is 2500 meters above the sea level and is located on one of the foothills of “Haft Tanan” summit in the central part of Kuhrang County and 130 kilometers from Shahre Kord in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. Its houses are from adobe and windows and doors of all houses open to the green nature and Imam Zadeh “Aqa Seyyed”. However, most of the houses of Sar Aqa Seyyed are windowless and the doors are the only openings of the houses.
Sar Aqa Seyyed is a village with mountainous and cascade architecture which is known as Zagros Masooleh. However, despite maintaining its originality, its name has been rarely heard among cascade villages.
