Length of Drive:
- Tabriz to Kalyebar then to Babak Fort base and back to Tabriz about 440 km
- This drive is through spectacular colorful mountains with a short stop to visit and so many other beautiful sceneries
Day 01: Tabriz to Kaleybar (Nomad’s tent)
Our journey will depart early in the morning from Tabriz towards Kaleybar city. On the way there, we will have a short visit to see the spectacular colorful mountains. These mountains are some of the unique natural tourist attractions of Iran; travelers rate it as one of their top five sites in Iran. Afterwards, we will continue to Ahar town to visit the Tomb of Sheikh Shahabuddin Ahari. This is another short stop to chill out for lunch.
We will continue to Kaleybar city and transfer to a 4X4 wheel vehicle to reach Nomad’s tent for a once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience with local music and cuisine.

Day 02: Nomads’ tent - Babak Castel - Tabriz
Today will start with a beautiful sunrise or perhaps a mystical foggy weather which will cover our tents. Experiencing this breathtaking moment will be one of the best of our journey. We will then enjoy an organic nomad’s breakfast before heading to the historical Babak castle.
This hike is approximately 1.5 hours to the top of the castle and will bring us back in time for more than 1200 years. Our exploration will continue by hiking through the forest for 3 to 4 hours.
End of the tour, return back to Tabriz.
