Mehriz

Mehriz is one of the counties of Yazd province. According to a tale, this county was founded by a Sassanid princess named Mehrnegar but the human habitation in this region dates back to ten thousand years ago. World’s tallest windcatcher tower with a height of fifty five meters can be found in this county. The only circular caravanserai of Iran, which is called Zeinodin is in this county.
