Mahabad

Mahabad is one of the counties of West Azerbaijan province. Its center is Mahabad city. This city is located at the south of province, on the slope of Land Sheykhan mountains. Mahabad is a green city situated between several mountains. It has special importance due to being located at the meeting location of West Azerbaijan province with East Azerbaijan and Kordestan provinces.
