Firuzeh

Firuzeh is one of the counties of Razavi Khorasan province and Firuzeh city is its center. Turquoise stone can only be found in a few countries of the world and its largest and highest quality mines are in Iran and are located in Firuzeh county (Firuzeh means Turquoise in Persian). Iranian Turquoise so well known in the world, that the turquoise of Nishapur is used to measure the quality of other turquoise.
