Faruj

Faruj is one of the counties of North Khorasan province. Due to being located on the traffic route of travelers and pilgrims of the eighth Imam, it is considered as the entrance gate of North Khorasan province from east and it is known as Bab al Reza. Being situated on the Asian cento road and being in close vicinity of the shrine of the Imam Reza, has given a special position to this county and has made it one of the centers of tourism in the province and the country. Faruj is known as the city of nuts in Iran.
