Amol

Amol county is located at the center of Mazandaran province. Amol city is the capital of Amol county and it has also been the historical capital for many historical dynasties of Tabarestan. Damavand peak, the roof of Iran, symbol of Mazandaran with a global fame and one of the most exquisite natural attractions of Iran and the world, is located in this county.
