Gachsaran
Gachsaran county is located at southwest of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad province and its center is Dogonbadan city, which used to be a part of Fars province in the past. Gachsaran, due to having plenty of water reservoirs and the Kowsar dam, also having the second oil field of Iran and several natural gas fields, is known as the land of water and fire; it is also known as the “oily roof of Iran”, due to having the highest (in altitude) oil field of the country.
