About: Ziloo museum
This museum is located at the Meybod Cultural & historical place of Caravansaray (building eastern hall) Which is recorded as the national historical building at recording numer of 1618. It was established at 2002 to restore and protecting the historical pile lass carpet and to acquaint all people that love arts of this hand weaves.
In this special museum the available pile less carpets are divided to the two group of old and new pile less carpets. The old pile less carpets that their value reach to 50 planks and the oldest one of these pile less carpets is belong to 808 H.A which has woven whith the altar design, with the special methods and in relation to other types it has woven of three colors of blue, white and ted by “Ali bid Ibn haji Meybodi” .
The small size of new pile less carpets (ziloo) in recent years are weaved in part of museum to restore the pile less carpets (ziloo) figures.
