Rasam Arabzadeh Culture and Art Foundation established the artistic hand-woven carpet museum with cooperation of Tehran Municipality in 1373. Founder of Iranian modern carpets (Seyyed Abolfath Zeidi Lotfi, known as Rasam Arabzadeh) has donated 66 original Iranian carpets to the people of Iran since then which has be shown in public to visitors, especially well-known figures in the world and Iran such as artists, well-known state and cultural characters and people of Iran.
Seyyed Abolfath Zeidi Lotfi (born in 1293 in Tabriz, died in 1375 in Tehran) known as Seyyed Abolfath Rasam Arabzadeh and publicly known in Iran and other countries as Rasam Arabzadeh was one of the prominent carpet designers. He was also active in painting, miniature, sculpturing, dyeing and carpet weaving.
