About: Forty Girls Tower, Damghan

Forty Girls Tower in Damghan was a brick tower in the western part of Damghan behind Jafar Shrine and besid Damghan-Semnan Road. The height of the aforementioned tower is about 15 meters and its outer diameter and the interior diameter are 23 and 5.5 meters, respectively. This tower almost built in the style of Tughrul Tower in Rey and Radkan Tower was built in 446 hijri year (1054) to the order of Abu Shoja Isfahani. It is certain that the name forty girls is related to pre-Islamic period.
