Baba Tahir or Baba Tahir Oryan is an Iranian mystic and Do-bayti (Persian quatrain) poet who lived from late 4th century to mid-5th century AH (Century 11 AD) in the time of Seljuk Toghrul-Beg. Baba Tahir’s poetry has been written in either Hamadani or Luri dialect. “Baba” (Father) as a sobriquet given to devoted disciples, and he was called “Oryan” (Naked) because he had dismissed worldly concerns. In Lorstan, “Baba” is used for spiritual guides of Ahl-e Haqq (People of Truth). There is not enough information about Baba Tahir’s family and life. According to Najmoddin Rawandi in Rahat al-sodur, Baba Tahir visited Seljuk Toghrul in 447 AH and was respected by him. 
The Tomb of Baba Tahir goes back to Seljuk period. It was occasionally refurbished and finally, it was constructed in the way that we can see today. 
This historical monument was registered in Iran’s National Heritage on April 10, 1997 under the registration number of 1780.

Qorban Tower, Hamadan

Hamedan, the ancient and legendary city with a brilliant background and rich culture has always been the cradle of civilization, science, art, wisdom and mysticism. However, the city has many attractions like other cities and one of the unknown attractions is Qorban Tower in Zandi Neighborhood near Ibn Sina High School. It is a 12 side brick tower with a pyramidal dome with 12 pieces of brick. There is also an inscription on the srypt portal of the tower which dates back to 1009 hijri year. This monument is the tomb of Sheikh al-Islam Hassan Ibn Attar Hafiz Abu al-A’laa Hamedani and a number of Seljuk commanders.
This tower was registered in the list of Iran’s national and historical monuments on 1354/3/28 with registration number 1078/3.

Mausoleum of Mir Razi ad-Din Artimani

Mir Razi ad-Din Artimani was one of the famous poets and mystics of Shah Abbas Safavi who was born in the second half of the tenth hijri century in Artiman Village. His name was Seyyed Mohammad and he was known as Razi. His autobiography in the introduction of his diwan reads that he was living with his father in Artiman as a child. He went to Hamedan in young ages to study religious sciences. Then he lived some time as a student of Mir Morshed Borujerdi. Around 1000 hijri year, He travelled to Isfahan, the source of poetry and literature at the timeand found a high position in Shah Abbas Palace. He also became the brother-in-law of Shah Abbas. After a long time kliving in Isfahan, he decided to go back to his hometown and established a monastery on top of a hill and began guiding truthseekers. Mir Razi passed away in 1307 hijri year and was buried in the monastery. The building of the tomb is on top of the same hill. Saghinameh and Sogandnameh are his most important works.

Tomb of Esther and Mordechai, Pronounce as Ester and Mardkhay monument or tomb (Persian: بقعه استر و مردخای) is one of the most important shrines of the Jewish people of Iran and the world. This monument is registered as one of Iran’s cultural heritage relics. The existence of this shrine is an important factor in formation and persistence of Jewish society in Hamedan.
Ester and Mardkhay tomb is the second important shrine of the Jewish people of the world. It is a historical building which according to the documents of Britannica Encyclopedia relates to Purim holiday and to the second A.D. century.
The dome on the tomb was adopted from the style of Islamic buildings. Its construction materials include stone and brick which was built on an older building in the era of Sadrat Sa’d Al-Dowleh in the third Hijri century. Moreover, Jewish people used its surrounding land as a cemetery.
According to a historical narration, Xerxes I married a Jewish girl named Ester, who was the nephew of Mardkhay. Meanwhile, a person named Haman envied the power of Jews and demanded the massacre of Jews from Xerxes I. But Mardkhay changed the opinion of the king by the help of Ester and saved the Jewish people from massacre. Since then, Jewish people hold the Purim holiday ceremony in late Esfand and early Farvardin days in the jubilee of being saved from massacre.
 

Shapouri House, Shiraz

Shapouri House is from early Pahlavid reign and is located in front of Ahli Street, Anvari Street in Shiraz. The monument was registered on 16th of Mehr 1379 as one of Iran’s national monuments with registration number 2781.
This monument was being built from 1310 until 1315 by master engineer Abolghasem, the well-known architecture of Shiraz and was owned by Abdolsaheb Shapouri, one of the great merchants in Shiraz. Shapouri House and Garden are precious examples of their time and represent the innovation and creativity of plans, facades and structures. The innovations applied on the structure of this garden have turned it into an Iranian-European garden. Some of the invaluable features of Shapouri House are the western (major) façade decorations, circular and designed gypeseous columns, tilings with archaemenids designs on the upper porch.
Visiting this monument is free for the public and there is a restaurant, café and an exhibition of cultural and art works of Fars Province.
