About: Maiden Bridge or Gizlar Korpusi of Malekan

Maiden Bridge or Gizlar Korpusi or Pol Dokhtaran in Qoli Kandi village is located on “Mardogh” river in central Gavdol rural district and between Qaleh Juq and Qoli Kandi villages in Malekan county. This monument has specific features due to the type of vaults and combination of stone and brick facades. Antiquity of this bridge dates back to Safavid and Qajar eras. This bridge is one of the biggest tourism point and recreation place for travelers and residents of Malekan in holidays and specially Norouz, 13 bedar and summer days. 
This remnant has been recorded as one of the national works with register number 22718 in 27th of Esfand, 1386 (2007).
