Ghadamgah cave, a 1200 year old place (located in Badamyar, Azarshahr which is called Ghadamgah, too) is a location for Mithraism ceremony.
Temple or mosque of cave is architecturally accounted as one of the important monuments. 
The diameter of dome’s base is more than 15 meters and it has 12 meter height. In addition, it has 12 meter length. This ancient monument was recorded in list of country’s historic opuses with register number 779 in 1347 (1968). 
The temple or mosque of cave is located at the upstream of Ghadamgah’s graveyard, near Badamyar village, from environs of Azarshahr in west Azerbaijan province.
