About: Nowduz Castle

Nowdoz Castle is a strong and historic forts related to Sasanian era, and it has been recorded in list of Iran cultural heritage with registry number 628 in 25th of Esfand, 1345 (1966). This castle has been built for military purposes and it has enough commands on surrounding mountains. 
As usual, other historic works pass their collapse and fall stages after its registration. This castle has been located in distance of 25 kilometers from southeast of Ahar city.
