پل قرمز شهرستان نیر در استان اردبیل از بهترین پلهای ساخته شده در دوره صفویه است که برروی رودخانه آغلاغان بنا شده است. این پل با آجرهای قرمزرنگ زیبایی خاصی داشته و گذر افراد پياده مي باشد. مشابه این پل، پلدختر شهرستان میانه در استان آذربایجان شرقی میباشد.
شهرستان نیر در 35 کیلومتری غرب مرکز استان اردبیل در مسیر جاده ترانزیتی اردبیل به تبریز قرار دارد. این شهر به لحاظ سنگ نبشته میخی اورارتوئی و نزدیکی به سراب و سبلان و معماری خاص صخره ای از استقرارگاههای قدیمی استان محسوب می شود. ضمناً قرار گرفتن خطوط فرعی جاده تاریخی ابریشم از آن نشانگر رونق آن در دوره های گذشته است.
