Exclusive carpet of Sheikh Safi-ad-din Ardabili monument was adorning this monument for years, and it has been set in list of 50 artistic masterpieces of world. This artistic and exquisite work which is now located in collection of “Victoria Albert Hall” in Landan in order to be visited by interested people is a symbol of art, though and mysticism of Safavid era. And it was kept in Sheikh Safi monument until 1893.
Sunday Times newspaper published by England recently chose 50 artistic works as excellent artistic masterpieces among thousands of historic and artistic masterpieces, and name of Iranian carpet made by Iranian artists and known as Ardabil carpet is among the 50 world masterpieces.
This artistic masterpiece which was found between 1539 and 1540 AD is the biggest famous carpet of orient that has been kept in best situation till now and no harm has been inserted.
